Organising things seems to have worked. I am keeping better tabs on the sorts of things they’re doing, and can suggest things based on their not having done enough of them lately. The things they like to pull out and use are easier to get to without disturbing everything else too. They always got to them, it’s just that now it makes less mess of other stuff.
There’s Lego everywhere. L keeps making things… I don’t have the vocabulary for this, but she’s exploring angles in two and three dimensions. It’s really interesting except when I step on some unexpectedly.
E is working on reading, still. And A is naming all sorts of shapes, often even accurately, which is very exciting. I think A is beginning to grasp counting, too, but she’s still just reciting at this stage. And she reads the pictures beautifully.

oooh I love organising & re organising everything!
The lego building sounds fun too – we’re huge lego fans – except the stepping on it bit – that does hurt!

The worst is kneeling on it, the soft bit next to the kneecap.

One of my friends suggested that Lego and Barbie shoes made a better security system than an alarm.
